That distinction matters for outdoor placement, where moisture, temperature change and prolonged exposure are real considerations. The brushed finish is directional, meaning the surface catches light differently depending on your angle, giving the cube a quiet visual presence that shifts across the day. The material requires no special maintenance and will not rust or pit over time.

Handcrafted in the Netherlands

This urn for ashes is made by hand in the Netherlands using the highest-grade materials available. Because each piece is produced individually by skilled makers, the lead time is typically four to six weeks from order. In practice it is often sooner, but a six-week window is given to avoid disappointment. If you need an accurate current estimate, the team is happy to advise directly.

Filling, sealing and peace of mind

The practical side of an urn matters as much as how it looks. Everything you need to fill and seal this urn is included: an ash bag, a cable tie, a cleaning cloth and a high-adhesion double-sided sealing tape capable of withstanding significant tension. The lid, once pressed flush into the rim, sits level with the base so the cube form remains uninterrupted. You can fill it yourself at home, or leave that task to the crematorium or funeral director. If the urn ever needs to be reopened, the technical team can do that for you.

Using an ash bag or filling directly

The choice is yours. Grade 316 stainless steel is non-porous and the closure is fully airtight, so the ashes can be placed directly into the urn without a bag. That said, if you think the ashes may need to be moved or transferred at a later date, using the included ash bag makes that simpler.

Practical reassurance

This cremation urn is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It carries a ten-year guarantee, and every purchase comes with a 30-day return period if you change your mind. If you have a specific design in mind, a custom model can be developed from a sketch, photograph or reference, with a quote provided before you commit.

Making it personal

Laser engraving is available as an option for this urn. A computer-guided laser works directly into the steel surface with high precision, and the result can be rendered in grayscale or color. The quality of the final image depends on the resolution of the file you supply, so a high-resolution image always gives the sharpest result. When you order, you can select this option and upload your chosen image or text at that stage. A name, a date, a photograph, or something that simply meant something to the two of you.
