Filling the urn

All the accessories needed to fill the urn are included. The process is designed to be manageable and unhurried. Place the ash bag inside the urn, leaving part of it extended over the opening to act as a funnel, then pour the ashes in, seal the bag with the included cable tie, and tuck it fully inside. If you choose not to use the bag, a funnel is advisable to avoid spillage. Once filled, ensure the inner seating edge is clean and free from dust, grease and moisture using the cloth provided, remove the protective film from the lid, and press it firmly into the rim in a single movement. A correctly closed lid will sit flush with the surface. If you would rather not fill the urn yourself, your crematorium or funeral director can do this for you, and our own technicians are also able to open and reseal the urn should that ever be needed later.

Guarantee, returns and lead time

This urn for ashes comes with a 10-year guarantee. If you have second thoughts after ordering, a 30-day return period applies to all memorial products. Because each urn is made by hand in the Netherlands using carefully selected materials, the lead time is 4 to 6 weeks. In most cases shipment happens sooner than that, but we communicate the longer estimate to avoid disappointment.
