Each urn is poured into that mold and left to dry. Once the surface has been smoothed, the piece is fired at 900°C. The glaze is then applied, and the urn is fired a second time at 1,050°C. It is those two firings that give the glaze its depth and clarity, and the urn its solidity. This is not a standard process. It demands precision and patience, and you see that in every finished piece.
