Everything you need to fill and seal the urn is included with your order. The urn is sealed using double-sided high-adhesion tape. You can place ashes directly inside or use an ash bag. The process runs as follows: place the supplied ash bag into the opening and leave part of it extending outward to act as a funnel, then pour the ashes in. Secure the bag with the supplied cable tie and tuck it fully inside. If you prefer not to use an ash bag, skip those steps and use a funnel when pouring to avoid spillage. Once the ashes are in place, make sure the inner seating edge is clean and free of dust, grease and moisture using the cloth supplied. Remove the protective film from the lid and press it evenly into the rim in one steady movement. A correctly fitted lid will sit flush with the surface. If you would rather have the crematorium or funeral director handle the filling, that is entirely possible. Should the urn ever need to be reopened, specialist technicians can do that for you.

Lead time

This keepsake urn is hand-crafted in the Netherlands. The lead time is four to six weeks. In most cases shipment happens sooner, but to avoid disappointment a timeframe of around six weeks is quoted as standard.
