The lead time for this urn for ashes is four to six weeks from order, though many are dispatched sooner. Filling the urn

Everything needed to fill and seal the urn is included with your order. An ash bag, cable tie and cleaning cloth are all supplied. The cloth is there to ensure the inner rim is completely free of dust, grease and moisture before the lid is pressed into place. When correctly closed, the lid sits flush. You can use the ash bag as a funnel during filling, or pour ashes in directly using a separate funnel if you prefer. If you would rather leave the filling to the crematorium or funeral director, that is entirely possible. Should the urn ever need to be reopened, our technicians can assist.

Personalization by laser engraving

Laser engraving is available on this urn, applied directly to the steel surface by a computer-guided laser with considerable precision. The engraving can be produced in gray tones or full color. The sharpness of the result depends on the resolution of the file you supply: the higher the resolution, the finer the detail. When you place your order, an upload menu guides you through selecting the engraving option and submitting your image or text.

Practical considerations

Grade 316 stainless steel is non-porous and fully sealed. Ashes can be placed loose inside without any risk of moisture ingress or expansion over time. If you think the ashes may need to be moved or divided at a later date, using the supplied ash bag makes that considerably simpler. The urn is suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement and carries a ten-year guarantee. All orders include a 30-day return period.
