Practical notes on the material

Porcelain is hard and rigid. It does not flex, and it will not withstand a sharp knock or impact. When fixing the photo to a monument or funeral urn, it should be mounted on a stable, flat surface using an appropriate adhesive. Fitted carefully, it is resistant to weather and surface wear, which is precisely why porcelain has been used for memorial purposes outdoors across generations.
