This requires genuine knowledge of both the material and the engraving process. The result is not a print applied to a surface. It is a permanent impression within the stone.

Because the engraving is burned into the material rather than bonded to its surface, it retains its quality outdoors year after year. To keep the block looking its best, a gentle clean with plain water is all it needs. No specialist products, no ongoing maintenance.

How the order works

Once you place your order, you will receive a digital proof for approval before any engraving begins. This gives you the chance to check every detail carefully. Please supply your photograph at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. A sharp image produces a sharp engraving: a well-lit portrait with clear contrast will give the best result.
