The colors follow, then a refinement coat of varnish, then a second protective varnish coat. Finally, the urn is smoothed and hand-polished to an even finish. Every step builds on the last, and you can see that in the result.

For all its careful construction, the finished urn is noticeably light to handle. Fiberglass is dimensionally stable over time, so the color and finish remain consistent whether the urn has been in place for one year or ten.
