How this urn is made

Each urn is hand-blown by a glassmaker working with a blowing pipe and layers of colored glass built up one at a time. The silver craquelé effect comes from a precise stage in that process, where the glass is thermally treated so that fine hairline fractures form within the layer. The urn is then submerged in molten glass, sealing everything beneath a final coat of clear crystal that gives the surface its characteristic gloss. A wooden mold ensures that every urn holds the same form and volume. The finish, though, is unique to each piece. The urn is made from high-quality crystal glass.

With or without an ash bag

This urn can be used directly without an ash bag, or with one if you prefer. The choice is entirely yours, and neither option affects the appearance of the urn.
