This cremation urn was designed by a Dutch sculptor whose background is in figurative bronze art. After the sudden loss of his own son, he created his first angel as a private tribute. That single piece became the foundation of a collection of memorial sculptures, each one shaped by grief, yes, but equally by love, compassion and the need to keep connection alive. Every urn in the collection still carries that origin.

The figure is formed from high-quality PLA filament, a biodegradable material of natural origin, and finished entirely by hand. That hand-finishing is what gives the urn its character. The three finishes, bronze, bluestone and sandstone, each read as something quite different from plastic. Every piece comes out slightly different, and that is deliberate. You are not receiving a mass-produced object.

Practical guidance for indoor use

PLA filament is a stable material in normal household conditions, but prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources such as a radiator can affect its finish over time. Keep the urn away from sunny windowsills and heat sources and it will hold its shape and surface well. This funeral urn is suitable for use with or without an ash bag, and is designed to hold the full volume of ashes.
